With all three of my kids now at school or kindy on a Friday I feel an expectation is upon me that I will fill my idle time (ha ha) in the office. So this morning I ventured in and found that a lot has changed in the last five years. Of course I know the business, the building and the ongoing politics but the new computer system sent me for a bit of a spin. I used to be able to negotiate RMS in my sleep however today even the exceptionally simple task of checking in a guest proved to be a challenge. I baffled my way through and don't think I made any major mistakes. I only wish that the washing, cleaning, household organizing, menu planning and grocery shopping fairy had visited my house whilst I had been 'at work'. Oh well, I guess that's what Friday nights are now for.
